I suppose it’s only appropriate that Arkansas is the duck-hunting capital of the world.  While duck season has come and gone for the year, why shouldn’t the title hold true for Easter as well?  Nobody ever mentions “Arkansas: The Bunny-Finding State.”

I’m Mr. Bill, the less-cute-one in the photo above.  I’ve been shooting Easter Portraits for 8 years now [my beautiful Bride and I are Beyond Photography].   Last year, 12 baby ducks migrated South, then perched in our home for a month.  Sheree and I were such the proud parents!  Like any child of a Photographer, our new, peeping kids quickly found themselves in front of the camera.  We were so, so proud, we couldn’t help but invite other kids for photos with the baby ducks.  The response was like nothing we’d ever seen! We booked every available session time, and finally added 4 more days of shooting to accommodate everyone.   This year, we’re adding another location for shooting:  Chenal!

We’ve been proud to work with Timothy Olaimey on several occasions, and now she has invited us to her home for Easter!

What can you expect from your Easter Portrait session?  Glad you asked.

Beyond Photography is the children’s studio. Most of our work, I’m glad to admit, is of kids.  I’m not usually one to brag on my own photographic pedigree, but I have been extensively trained by 3 mentors in the “University of Child Relations.”  Thanks to these three teachers, I’ve honed my diaper-changing skills, and I can cook a chicken nugget like a champion!  I’m now completely unaffected by spit-up on my shirts, and don’t flinch when I  hear a crying baby [believe it or not, I actually miss the days of formula and baby's warbly cry].   If you’d like to see more of my 3 teachers, Carson, Harrison, and Bella Grace, click here, then click “Personal Blessings.”

Our photographic style is simple, elegant, and fun.  This year’s Easter scene for Quick Sessions (pictured above) features a beautiful ottoman and draperies, along with other furniture options and props.  This setting lends itself especially well with formal Easter clothes, as well as simple casual clothing.  [As with all portrait work, avoid contrasting patterns when multiple persons are being photographed.]  As I mentioned, we also have the baby ducks!  I’ll create images with and without the ducks [and just wait until your kids see the ducks!  They are so amazingly cute!].

Anyway, here’s how you can forever capture this year’s Easter finest:

1.  Call or email to schedule an appointment.  Contact soon, as our prime time slots will fill quickly.  When you schedule, we’ll ask for a $75 retainer to hold your time.  This is not a session fee! Your retainer will apply to the order of your photos.  [We don't charge a session fee.]  During this call, we’ll ask if you need a Quick Session–10-15 minute sesson [where we'll pick the best photo], or if you’d like a Full Session–40-55 minute session (using multiple poses/scenes inside & out–$500 min  order please).

2.  We’ll send you the brief details of  “What to Expect.”  You’ll then see some of the unique products we’re introducing new this Easter.

3.  Your kids will have a fantastic time playing with the ducks and Mr. Bill.  Yes, we will be able to handle newborns, as well as multiple kids.  We’ll shoot a wide variety of poses, angles, etc., to give you several options.  Depending on the session you chose, your portrait session will last between 11 and 50 minutes.

4.  For those who requested a Quick Session:  you’ll select your discounted package that day, and we will choose the best pose.  You will not preview your images.

For those who choose a full session:  we’ll schedule your ordering appointment for the following week.  You’ll preview all images, and then decide.

5.  Within 5 weeks of the ordering session, all photos will be delivered to the Olaimey Home.
